CAREY FAMILY FOUNDATION DRIVE THRU THANKSGIVING TURKEY MEAL GIVE AWAY

(Miami, FL) The Carey Family Foundation handed out 250 Thanksgiving Meals to the community on Monday, November 16 at 3 pm. The drive thru only distribution took place in the parking lot at Miami Northwestern Senior High School.

Retired Miami Dolphins and Miami Hurricanes Offensive Linemen Vernon Carey Sr. is a graduate of Miami Northwestern Senior High School. Additional sponsors include Jackson Family Wines and Love, Tito’s.

“My family and I are very thankful to be able to give hundreds of Thanksgiving Meals to families in our hometown each year. We appreciate the support of our Thanksgiving Turkey Meal Giveaway sponsors Jackson Family Wines and Love, Tito’s,” said Carey Family Foundation Founder Vernon Carey, Sr. Each meal feeds around 6-8 people and includes a turkey and sides.

The Carey Family Foundation (formerly the Vernon Carey Foundation) creates programs and provides support to encourage the improvement of our youth. These programs are designed to enhance educational and recreational development and economic opportunities within the community.
