VERNON CAREY FOUNDATION HOSTS BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT
Kids attended fun-filled event received drawstring bags with school supplies and grooming services.
Former Miami Dolphins Offensive Linemen Vernon Carey hosted a “Back to School Kickoff Event” at Dave & Busters. Former Professional Football players including Jason Allen, Adewale Ogunleye, Steve Potter and Shawn Wooden joined Carey and 72 children from both Broward and Miami Dade County Schools. The kids selected are from Dillard Elementary, Dillard Middle School and Myrtle Grove K-8. In addition to the games and food at Dave & Busters they received drawstring bags filled with school supplies. Grooming services including haircuts, braids and nail services will be provided by Beauty Anatomy Institute and Raul the Barber. Additional sponsors include Perry Ellis.
