VERNON CAREY FOUNDATION FATHER AND DAUGHTER DANCE

(Fort Lauderdale) Retired Miami Dolphins and University of Miami Offensive Lineman Vernon Carey hosted the 2nd Annual Vernon Carey Foundation Father and Daughter Dance on Saturday, June 17th at the ballroom at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The event is for Father’s and Daughters of all ages in celebration of Father’s Day Weekend.

Current and Retired NFL Players and local celebrities were in attendance for the masquerade themed event. There was a DJ, Dinner, corsages provided by Al’s Florist, S.E.E.K’s STEM Lip Gloss Making Station, Photo Booth, Poetry Reading from the Jason Taylor’s Foundation’s Omari Hardwick Blueapple Poetry Network, games and a Special Guest Performance. Kimmy B of HITS 97.3 was the emcee and DJ Legato. “My wife LaTavia and I and the Vernon Carey Foundation are honored to provide this memorable opportunity for Fathers and Daughter to have fun and spend time together,” said Carey.

The Vernon Carey Foundation creates programs and provides support to encourage the improvement of our youth.
